Understand the Practices

A Guide to Each Style

Every practice has its own rhythm, intention, and gift. Here's what each one offers.

Yin Yoga is a slower therapeutic style of yoga that helps to stretch and strengthen the deeper tissues, bones, and joints in our body. Yin Yoga also removes stress and rebalances the whole energy system, offering a quiet contrast to the more active yang practices.
Hatha Yoga is the ancient form of yoga that helps to increase strength and flexibility by working through different asanas (postures) with focused mindfulness. It is the grounding root from which nearly all modern styles have grown.
Vinyasa Yoga is the form of yoga where you flow from one asana to another seamlessly, guided entirely by the breath. It builds heat, rhythm, and a meditative focus that quiets the mind through movement.
A beautiful amalgamation of Pilates and yoga. Classes consist of breath-focused strengthening and stretching, with resistance bands and optional small weights (1–2 kg) for strength training. Suitable for beginners and intermediates alike.
AŪM Yoga conducts monthly meditation practices to allow the practitioner to rest, rest, and recoup. These sessions deepen the connection with yourself and support a life lived with purpose — combining guided meditation, yoganidra (yogic sleep), and the resonant healing of soundbath.
What Every Class Includes

Pranayama, Asana & Guided Meditation

Every class weaves together pranayama (breathing techniques) to refine the breath, asanas (postures) to build strength and flexibility, and guided meditation to soften into complete rest.

Together these practices open you to a stronger and more flexible body, more balanced energy, a more open heart, and clearer awareness — leading to a deeper mind-body connection.
